Mission: The Math Club is a community for anyone interested in mathematics at UT, not limited to mathematics students. Every Tuesday, the club offers guest lectures, where a professor or graduate student speaks about an area of ​​mathematics that interests them. These topics range from knot theory to machine learning and quantum computing, according to the speaker. On alternate Fridays, the club hosts workshops or social events, where you can learn new skills (like how to use LaTeX) and make new friends.
Notable events/honors: Hao Huang’s proof of the sensitivity conjecture and the implications of it by Dr. Aaronson.
