TucánAyuda is about being transparent and open. In this spirit, I would like to express a personal note by sharing acknowledgments and expressing my gratitude. Through my work, I have realized that, just by asking or looking around, there is always some help available and the challenges are not as overwhelming as they might seem at first glance. I have had a lot of support along the way to create TucánAyuda. The following are some of the people and tools to whom I want to express my sincere gratitude (and I am sure this list will grow). If I have left someone out, it has been unintentionally.

First of all, I would like to thank my friends who have tested the site’s usability, provided design suggestions, and checked for broken links. My Spanish teacher, Ms. Veronica S., and Ms. Valeryn M., have helped me with the grammar and clarity of the website content. My efforts would not have been possible without the valuable comments of Costa Rican friends about their country’s educational system. I also want to thank our nonprofit organizations for offering our students volunteer opportunities and making our work more meaningful.

My website-building efforts were easy and fun with the help of tools like WordPress.com, Elementor , the plugin for page layouts, and envato.com for stock photos. The content of the website would not have been possible without the admissions counseling information provided by many sites, including commondataset.org, collegeboard.org, onetonline.org, khanacademy.org, and act.org. Additionally, I discovered that the travel.state.gov site had all the details for the student visa process. I also want to thank Mr. Andrea Bartolucci for teaching me how to collect and analyze data systematically. For my work in web development, I want to thank our family friend, Ravneet Singh, who helped me every time I had problems with WordPress, the system that hosts these pages. Websites like stackoverflow.com, leetcode.com, and codeacademy.com are beneficial, but nothing beats Ravneet’s help when he was stuck. I thank Ms. Nana-Sentuo Bonsu for guiding me and helping me with media outreach.
