Shubham is a student at Cornell University. Shubham has always been fascinated by inspiring stories of social enterprise startups and has worked on many volunteer initiatives that helped others in his community. His team’s first place at the Berkeley High School Youth Entrepreneurship Competition boosted his confidence to start an independent business.
His academic work through his school, community college courses, and AP exams prepared him to build this resource-filled website. When he is not busy with studies or working at TucánAyuda, Shubham can often be found participating in hackathons, theater, or enjoying day hikes in the Bay Area.
COVID Guidance Efforts Advisor. Dr. Umesh Metkar is an orthopedic surgeon. He has received fellowships in the United States. Dr. Metkar works at UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center as a spine surgeon. Additionally, Dr. Metkar has twenty years of experience in the medical field.
Amy is from Costa Rica passionate about education and the environment. She is an Environmental Engineering student at ITCR and will graduate in 2025. In her free time, she is an English tutor and translator. Amy has been the key driver in collecting on-the-ground information on the Costa Rican school curriculum and educational resources for TucánAyuda.
